Hi Roland,
Glad you got the build process going. The second time I installed the
build system/source tree
it kept getting stuck on me too but I finally got it working again. I'll
still detail my process just in
case it can help you or others.
I've listed a lot of different blogs/posts/articles
I just put together a doc how to bisect regressions in gecko/gaia using
datazilla and b2gperf: http://mzl.la/RqNqu2

For this issue, I think we'll need more info before it can be
resolved. It might be easiest if you stop by the #devtools room on IRC
or file a bug report[1].
Good things to include:
* What OS are you running?
* What exact build of the Simulator do you have (from the Add-on Manager)?
* Enable verb

first of all, let me say thank you, this group is awesome!
i nuked my VM and started from scratch, checking and rechecking every step.
guess what, my machine is currently building v1.3 for inari.
looks good, previously it failed pretty early in the process.
i still get a huge amount of warnings
I think you will have to take out the adb reboot download from the
geeksphone flash script when you do that, just a heads up in case it doesnt
work

Hi Roland
I'm away from my machine I use to build b2g but I will email the exact steps I
use to build later this evening. I basically used the mdn guides to setup the
build environment but I used steps found elsewhere on the web to build b2g and

Hello,
[troll] How sucessfull answer...from Mozilla UNsupport service...[/troll]
If this is a "oficial" answer about ZTE Open, I see a very short future to
FXOS, more or less like LiMo (two official phones [Sansung] from Vodafone tied

Thanks Joseph, i have seen that you can use 1.3 - but it seems it's not
possible to upgrade to 1.4 or 1.5.
i have tried to build 1.3 myself on a virtual ubuntu machine which does nothing
else and is configured as described on MDN.
but i can't actually build anything - the build fails for 1.2, 1.3

Hi Roland,
I've built and ran 1.2-1.5 on my zte open. People have reported problems with
1.4/1.5 so I only built it and played for a minute before reverting to 1.3
which is reported to be the last stable build on the zte open. I'm not sure
where the instability is in 1.4/1.5 but I didn't use the

Now ZTE Open C is available for order on eBay. The vendor confirmed that the
device is fastboot enabled.
Anyone knows the device name of it to build FFOS? This information seems
missing on MDN.
