Hi everybody, Profihost, one of our web hosting partners, is about to update MySQL version to 5.7 - where we determined a gross issue a while ago which is fixed already, reported here: https://bugs.oxid-esales.com/view.php?id=6497
We informed Profihost today as well as our support and everybody else who is in contact with clients. Additionally, we started a pinned forum thread (announcement, German) providing all necessary information: https://forum.oxid-esales.com/t/profihost-hebt-mysql-version-auf-5-7-vs-keine-versandarten-gefunden/93156 Please feel free to add more information to the forum thread, like how to fix even older OXID eShop versions etc. Please use this chance to talk to your clients in order to sensitize them for regular and frequent updates: This (accept of security issues) is exactly the reason why we offer updates in regular, projectable time frames and make them as smooth as possible.
