Showcase App: opening "View in dialog" dialog more then once blocks the UI

The first click on "View in dialog" opens the dialog normally.
Clicking "Cancel" closes it.
Further clicks on "View in dialog" have no visible affect on the UI.
Close the "Showcase" App.
Now you see the modal dialog in an incomplete form, it has no action buttons
and cannot be closed. The interface is now unusable.
