App close button often does not respond on tap on iPad

If you are very careful then it does seem to respond, but it is easy to miss it.
And if you are successful, there still is no instant feedback.
There must be an instant visible feedback that your tap has been registered.
Best would be window closing instantly, second best would be a hilight of the
close button. (possibly a loading indicator on the shell header as well)
