I don't really understand your question. Where are you trying to use the java 
code?

Are you writing a model-class?

In the model-class you can access the current content using "getContent()".

This is a newbie question but I really dont know how to do it 

When I'm on jsp I do this
[code]<cms:setNode var="currentNode" />[/code]

to get the current page node. but I'm not sure how to convert this to java.
