Just a note to alert folks who don't track mozilla.dev.apps.firefox closely that there is design discussion there about UI for content-handling dialogs & interactions. This includes handing off data to both local and web-based content-handlers. While it's certainly conceivable that these could BE implemented in a Firefox-only way, it seems to me these changes are likely to be generally useful/desirable for Gecko as a whole.
