Everybody, thanks all for the information!
For what it's worth, I'm now running kannel (cvs update from yesterday)
compiled with:
./configure --prefix=/usr --with-defaults=speed --disable-docs --disable-ssl
--enable-debug
(malloc checking off) I'll be watching it closely to see what happens.

I can never get it to install... always get build problems. Don't know why
as I use a recent Redhat but, there are always problems.
So asking a quick question about a bug in the most current 'stable'
release seemed like a good idea.
Sorry.

On a related topic, I thought I would ask the group if
they collectively or individually cared about this.
Our company connects to the EMI smsc at TIM, Italy's
largest provider. (They serve about 22 million cellphones)
This SMSC is a bit brain-damaged, since TIM won't allow a direct
connection

Hi Guys/Gals,
I'm using 1.1.5 in production system for incoming SMS over Wavecom GSM
modems.
This has been working okay - but I have a problem with message time (%t).
Messages sent this morning come wit time time stamps like 1932-01-19 18:36
- which is well out!
;o)
Has this been fixed?

Of course, just use 'get-url' or 'post-url' with the escape parameters
instead of 'text'. User guide has more.
