Hello devel,
When reading the docs, I came upon a question.
Have there been thoughts about putting the smsc-interfaces into a
seperate box?
And then have the messages come in through a connector, the same way
as UDP datagrams come in?
True... I think in daily usage, most people use on
A little note to add:
You can request a maximum client MRU size of any arbitrary length (0 means
no limit) while sending a Connect request.
But note that because of the nature of capability negotiation, the gateway
can decide to choose a lower client sdu size if they wish.
In that case, there is
Hello devel,
Please find attached a CMTI-patch.
It does not call at2_wait_modem_command recursively.
The changes are relatively big, compared to my first quick hack (but
hey, you asked for it ;]).
I made a seperate queue in the privdata struct and I put CMTI
notifications in it.

Yes.
Maximum SDU Size is part of capability negociation.
(Btw, therefore, it can only be set in connection oriented mode).

I say +1 to this patch. We use emi2 for production
and this
problem has been bugging us for ages. Would be nice
to have
a proper reconnect mechanism for once.

Quick question: Each time I send an sms (either
through sendsms interface or via an sms service) and I
set the dlrmask, I want to be able to tag the message,
so that when the dlrurl is called, some cgi parameter
passed to it will tell me which message it relates to.
How do I do that? I've scanned
For instance with this command:
lynx -dump "http://$host:$port$path?
user=$user&pass=$pass&to=$number&text=$urltext"
Replace the variabeles (prepended with $) with your values.

Your friend can post to Kannel's HTTP interface, right?
Alternatively, you can write a simple PHP script that your friend posts to.
Which relays the message to Kannel-HTTP.

Hi guys,
I have a question that really need to be answered, can anyone help me?
Here's the question:
Kannel(HTTP) -> Kannel(SMPP) -> SMSC
I have a friend using kannel and using http to send sms to me. I am a middle
man, so the question is how do I get the SMS content and dump to an SMPP
SMSC. D
Title: Command Line
Hi everybody,
I was wondering if there is any way for sending SMSs via Command Line. I have only used the HTTP Interface and it works perfect, but I would like to know the different ways for sending SMSs apart from HTTP interface.
Thanks in advance.
Not much feedback on this one... (apart from Oded ;-)
Don't you guys think this would be a nice fix to
have on CVS?
It would be nice to hear from the ones using EMI2 in a
production environment.
Angel.
