Hi ,
We are building a Email ( IMAP and POP) server on
tandem(non stop kernal) machine for an ISP provider.We want to
support SMS also with that. For that we want to use kannel smsgateway. Our
purpose is to send email message to cellphone user and vice-versa.I have gone
through the architecture and the user guide provided by kannel. I am curious to
know the following things :
(I) Is it possible to run SMS Box independently (
not with the bearer box thread, because we don't want WAP box).
(ii)Whether this SMS gateway will support POP3 for
message transmission, and SMTP for message reception ? If yes then what are the
changes we need to do.
