with OTA based (U)SIM Toolkit Application through kannel as the SMSC gateway. I
wanted to confirm that I dont have to define a special esm_class or data_Coding
scheme or any othe

Yes…you will have to speak to
your STK vendor. He will confirm the format in which he will be sending you the
messages. It could be something like Hex values or something else.
