p.s. you don't need run_kannel_box, it's obsolete!

What is the purpose of start-stop-daemon,run_kannel_box in kannel. And how they work.
What I thought is it makes the bearerbox to run as daemon. But if I want to start the bearerbox as daemon what is the command that I have to issue at command prompt?

Are there docs anywhere for it ?
I want to run kannel as a specific UID etc. This is currently on
DeadRat 8, but may move to Fedora Core soon.
