This has been solved for Java versions, for gcc release, for databases, and for multiple python releases. /etc/alternatives mostly works, compat libraries work, SCL installs work. Let’s avoid inventing another packaging and naming scheme for this, we’re only just recovering from “modularity”. S

My F31 kickstart install is failing with: DNF error: Error in POSTIN scriptlet in rpm package flatpak-selinux This is because flapak-selinux installs a SELinux module in %post: %post selinux %selinux_modules_install %{_datadir}/selinux/packages/flatpak.pp.bz2 which sources /etc/selinux/config.

HEADS UP: icu 65 just landed in rawhide

Hi, I just updated icu from 63.2 to 65.1 in rawhide. This comes with a soname bump, but as usual, I've included a compat package providing the old soname to not break the world while the rebuilds are in progress, so no rawhide breakage is expected. I'll work on the rebuilds over the weekend. H
