So my project (pveclib) was requested for el7/8 which means building with devtoolset-9. With a spec file enabled for el7, the local rpmbuild's fail if you don't have devtoolset installed. The error message was less than helpful. So if you can use fedpkg scratch-build devtoolset is preinstalled.
