Update on progress...
I have one build failure unrelated to yaml-cpp for a package I don't
maintain, supercollider:

I have added the OCIO new version BZ# as a blocker to the yaml-cpp new
version BZ# and added NEEDINFO from the maintainer. That being said the bug
has been open since 2021 so I'll give it a couple of days, after which I
plan to update yaml-cpp myself.
The following packages will need to be rebuilt
