On a very fast test on XO-1 CL1.
Running F11-XO1/os10 there are 2 batteries in frame.
However, the major problem appears to be that there is a delayed detection of
the SDcard. Thus is looking for the olpc.fth file, first in USB then in the
NAND and never in the SDcard.
Booting from USB is fine
Seems like documentation might
be good, and not sure if GIT
or a wiki is the place to do it,
several people are interested
in the process beyond just
the end result, and for the project
and sustainability, making
the build process open and public
seems to serve all best...

On an XO-1 system with an SoaS image installed, I am seeing messages:
"bash: warning: setlocale: LC_CTYPE: cannot change locale (en_US.UTF8):
No such file or directory"
I notice that this system does not have /etc/rc.d/init.d/olpc-configure
(or equivalent), where I believe locale is set for lapto
