This is a good idea. We already have CONFIG_SQUASHFS=m on the XO-1
and XO-1.5 kernels. It won't be loaded unless needed by user-space,

My best advice is use a standard toolbar and your webview.
The standard toolbar not only contain the stop button,
also the title and description widgets,
important to journal interaction,
and provide consistency with other activities.
