After being unsuccessful in installing packages inside fedora arm virtual
box , I have now installed fedora 18( as host system , earlier it was
fedora 14) and now I am having problem running fedora-arm under virtual
box.

run fedora arm under virtual box. I was able to get ip address through dhcp
and ping outer world.

Jose Prous did use qemu in early October.
It looks like a bug in qemu-system-arm. Try a later version. Fedora
14 is old now. The message is patched on qemu-devel mailing list,
according to Google:

Your builder system should have an ARM processor, but I see from your
rpm -qa that you have an i686 package installed. This is because
builder system is not ARM processor?
