As of late morning yesterday, the CS department LDAP woes appear to
have been made much better (I hesitate to say "totally fixed" -- time
will tell). I didn't want to send this out yesterday because I wanted
to see how well things were working yesterday afternoon.

The IU CS department had its LDAP server working yesterday afternoon,
but it apparently went "bad" again sometime overnight and is being
nursed back to health.
SVN access will be spotty until the LDAP server is working properly.

No, I lied. The IU CS department is having issues with the LDAP
server, and it's causing all kinds of secondary effects. SVN may be
touch-and-go until they get this fixed.
