I am interested in using OpenMPI cross-cluster runs on the Grid
environments. Is this feature plan to implement on OpenMPi or is
alredy there.

don't have a date for completing that work yet.

I am looking for MPICH-G2 kind capability. I belive PACX-MPI does the
same thing.
I am sure open-rte will provide similar kind environment globus did.

PACX-MPI folks in Germany are working on inter-cluster routing of MPI
communications.
