I'm reviewing the README for v1.3; I somewhat doubt that the following
is true -- can those who know send updates?
- The run-time systems that are currently supported are:
- rsh / ssh
- LoadLeveler
- PBS Pro, Open PBS, Torque
- Platform LSF
- SLURM
- XGrid
- Cray XT-3 and XT-4

More in the README that I think needs updating:
- Systems that have been tested are:
- Linux, 32 bit, with gcc
- Linux, 64 bit (x86), with gcc
- OS X (10.4), 32 and 64 bit (i386, PPC, PPC64, x86_64), with gcc
- Solaris 10 updates 2 and 3, SPARC and AMD, 32 and 64 bit, with Sun

I've reviewed and updated the entire README file, but have several
questions that need to be answered by others in the community. I
committed all my changes, but marked sections of the file with "***"
where there's still a question about what needs to be updated.
