It looks like there is somewhere a difference between the config for the
2 branches.
When I build mono in the .dev- branch it looks like the result gets
"installed" in tmp/staging/i686-linux, but when I build the same bitbake
recipe in the .asu.stable branch no files are there.

I just installed tichy on an uptodate base image - once I tried to start it,
tichy complained about a missing pygame module. Seems like python-pygame is
missing in tichy's package dependencies.
BUT: Trying to install python-pygame, I noticed that pygame is in turn missing

As I use enlightenement on my desktop and illume is now in trunk, I
tried to launch illume on desktop.
That works very well with the script provided. however, I don't know
how to show the keyboard, the 'qwerty' button does net seems to work

Correct, thanks. It showed as 1.8.1-ml1, from the FSO unstable feed. When
I forced it to install python-pygame-1.8.1-ml5 from the OM testing feed and
libpng3 it does now work. Very odd, though, that the newest available in
the FSO unstable feed lacks png and jpg support, and OM unstable seems to
