So we really need a filtering extension for FSO. It would be really
nice if this sat on the FSO level rather than the dialer level. For
example, some carriers send out SMS messages with special caller IDs
in order to notify customers of voicemail. Instead of this hitting the
user and them seeing a
This is a multipart question about the Openmoko Freerunner. I
basically want to know about the sound states the device can support,
and currently supports.
The ones which I'm wondering if it can support:
1) GSM out -- > CPU in
2) GSM in < -- CPU out
3) GSM out ---> CPU ---> handset speaker
4)
What is the best way to hack zhone?
I wanted to somehow install it localy (or in qemu emulator) but now I
wonder if it's better idea to just develop zhone over ssh.
Any thougts on the subject of python development for FR?

I'll merge om.dev back into OE upstream in this couple days, so please
stop committing to org.openmoko.dev branch and commit to upstream
instead.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, Understood the issue.
I have the koolu images (ramdisk, system & data)
which will work for FR.
Please tell me how to flash those images?
Just adb puh and untar? Will that work?
Sorry if it sounds silly.
Thanks,
Ram.

No, you cannot use the build for the emulator on the Freerunner. They
use different ARM architectures. I'm not sure what people are asking
here. There is a kernel and rootfs available for Freerunner already.
just flash that. What does Benno's images give you that is different?

Hi Aaron,
Will that be possible to do?
That is, extracting file system images
from Emulator or getting it somewhere and flashing
to the Android freerunner.
Please help.
Thanks,
Ram.
