Why are you testing with WEEKLY and LIMBO?
In theory there could be something pushed into main repository needed
by something in Limbo and in such a case you won't have it.
Weekly is a weekly made copy (on Saterday or Sunday) of the main
repository. The reason to have weekly is that when we push
sabayon-limbo]

Even with or without the udev version installed from Limbo .39 is dead
on my system aswell.
It boots straight into a blank screen (directly after you hit enter at
the grub menu POOF).

I went ahead testing grub2 and noticed that after REAL installation
(grub2-install /dev/sda) I got an error thrown.
The installer waas not able to recover it somehow and I went digging
and found a topic on the Gentoo forums:

Yeah it was in the cache generated by the vanilla Sabayon 7 Entropy
version, I guess.

Recently installed A Sabayon 7 G x86 image and noticed 2 things that I
don't recall being reported.
- I noticed ufw being in both boot and default runlevel.
- The user is in the group haldaemon, I suspect that is a deprecated
group not needed anymore.
