command is being issued:
/home/rlong/nta-workspace/nta-docs/sphinx/bin/sphinx-build -b html -D
extensions=sphinxcontrib.bibtex -C . out contents.rst ->
If I run this with the "->" at the end, I get "bash: syntax err
