This is probably configurable by your window manager, and not specific to
XFree86 configuration.

Burt,
The Contributor's Guide for XFree86 on Cygwin has step-by-step
instructions for setting up a cross-compile environment. None of the
steps are really Cygwin-specific, so it should be able to get you going.
Here is a link to the relevant section:

Hi,
I need to do a cross-compile of XFree86 and need a jump start to either
docs detailing how to configure correctly to do so, or some pointers on how
the .cf files are correctly used.
I've read the BUILD document, xf86site.def, site.def, cross.def, etc. but
it is not clear how to actually se

This is strictly an application thing, and i
Hi,
Earlier this year there was a mail thread about
multiple pointers. I'm wondering if there is any new
information on this topic.
We would like to have a collaborative desktop on a
display wall where multiple people can work
simultaneously. In particular it would be nice to have
multiple top le
Hi, here are XF86Config entries for an old mono monitor / card combination I
had to enter manually back in '99 and didn't find in a recent Linux distro.
I still use'em on one of my servers:

well, in the config you can arrange the mointors such that the two you
want to skip are above, below, or to the side of the ones you want
together.

Hi guys,
As I know XFree86 4.4 is coming in december. Will you be needing some
help with documentation updates, documentation preparation,
pressreleases etc. non-coding work? I would volunteer to do some things.

Sometimes while editing in a text window the mousepointer jumps to another
program due to an event there.
Is it possible to disable this ?

While switching from 5 NCD Xterminals to one 5 monitor linuxsystem we run
into the problem that the space key acts as a return on selected buttons.
Is this a known problem / configuration?

I have five monitors on a system and one keyboard/mouse.
Can I configure the system that the mouse/keyboard will not apply for two
of those monitors. And thus will go one monitor further while dragging the
mouse ?
Best regards,
