Timeout timers with xlib ??

Hi, does it give in xlib timeout timers?? If yes,how is the funktion name and can it handle multiple timers?? If not, must i use an toolkit that have an timer?? When i must use an toolkit for timer,can i use only the timer(s) and can make the rest with xlib funktions?? Or must i convert my xlib

Window maximize/minimize request to Window Manager

HI, is it possible to tell, through a xlib funktion, the Window Manager to maximize/minimize the window?? Thus as I press the minimize/maximize button on the titlebar of the window. I hope you understand my question, because my English isn't so good :) Stephan
