Thanks for picking this up. I'm in the process of integrating OpenCL with our
qt/qml application. I will be happy to test, and contribute our work as
applicable so as to encourage this development.

It's a bug fix rather than a new feature, so yeah, I'd expect it could be
included in a subsequent bugfix release (assuming there is one).
