in generated Excel template columns are formatted by generating
process depending on data type in Axapta.
If you copy date from another excel file in the template formatting
of columns could be overwritten and import does not work anymore.
So check formatting information in original Exce

yes, i can understand, formatting of cells are
necessray if the case is Date.
But in my case as i am importing the vendor master. So
there is no question of dates. here i am facing the
problems with Vendor code. If i type this code into
the template excel it works

method that does not get called by the file import routine, and
that is what generates the "reference" record used to initialize the
HRMVirtualNetworkTable record that cross references to the
