I guess I may be repeating what someone else has said. Please check
whether the item you are trying to produce is a configurable item.
Btw, it's a good practice to set the production type to standard and I
am curious to know whey you are using reqtrans to create a production
order and not reqPo. Also check if the reqtrans is populated with data.
