Whats the use of /lib/modules/2.4.6-7.0.8e-smith and
/lib/modules/2.4.6-7.0.8smpe-smith in e-smith 5.0.
they contain ppp.o module in it, which is installed
by ppp-2.4.0-12.i386.rpm.
any particular use of it by any application?

Since the release of 5.11 the ability to make an afp over tcp/ip
connection on a wan link has been lost.
I'm trying hard to see what might have changed - an ipchains to iptables
