The thing is, on a Linux machine, .tgz files are easier to deal with

There seems to be a problem with the .zip and the .rpm.tar.gz files on your
site. When I download and decompress them on my end, the install script does
not execute. (Note: Downloaded via http browser directly to ibay share)

Regarding the cron job - I see rav still copies the ravupdate.sh to
the /etc/cron.daily directoy.
Do we have to create a custom template? or Can we just leave this script to
run once a day?
