you need to add a line in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf ErrorDocument 401 http://www.youserver.com/sslerror.html then if you want to put a link back to the same place with an https:// link you can or even make a meta redirect to take the browser there in 1 second. note: this file will have to
