Lynx vs. wget is pretty much a matter of preference; either will work.
I'd replace "your_zone_yere" with $DOMAIN, though, as that variabl
That's because your IP uses transparent proxying and the script connects
via port 80...
Here's what I use very succesfully:

You just alter the custom script as such:

It should be. Note that I haven't tested this; I just grabbed it from
their FAQ page (which you pointed me to) and changed a couple of things to be e-
smith compliant.

Sure enough. OK, how to integrate it into e-smith would be to add
these lines to /sbin/e-smith/dynamic-dns/cust

You mean zoneedit? Yes, it's pure DNS hosting. You may be able to do
more with them (I don't remember for sure), but they'll work as just a
DNS host.

Or, if you don't want to give the money to dyndns.org, have the DNS for
the virtual domains hosted by zoneedit.c
I had a solution to this in another Forum..
If you pay DynDns.Org $30 or more then you can use the CNAME to propogate
your IP across the Virtual Domains and no changes on the E-Smith box
However - less that $30 - thy this simple solutiuon on the E-Smith box.
Enjoy..

G'Day All,
Justin from Dyndns.com confirmed that their service will allow multiple
domains to be updated with one account if all domains are on the same IP.
Does anyone know (As I await a second reply from Justin) whether or not the
details of linking the multiple domains is done by their server
