I have installed the jabber 1.4 rpm on several e-smith 4.1.2 servers and configured it. I even got the jabber.xml file broke into fragments at one time but ran out of time to play with that as well. I am not sure if I still have the fragments or not, But I will look if you would like me to. The part that I would really like to see working is the other transports, specifically the groupchat or conference transport.
