I have re-installed the RPM and set up the modem and now the dialin DOES check the
username and password.
I have not figured out why it was not, but it failed to continue to work and so I did
the re-install.
I think it may need more testing to make sure.

you can edit the taint check to allow S14
however the dialin rpm is broken in that i've had reports that it doesn't
check the dialin user. ie anyone gets access if you know the phone
