This may not be a big deal - but it happened right after the upgrade from
4.1rc1 to 4.1rc3.
1. All directories under primary/html/ were empty.
2. All directories under primary/html/ were read-only.
3. Access to primary/html was not a problem and all files were intact.
Virtual domains
Are you absolutely sure that those directories were non-empty before the
upgrade, and empty after? Did you look directly on the e-smith system, or
only, for instance, via Network Neighbourhood?
We have no reason to delete such files, and no right to do so.

The files are physically still on the server, living in
/home/e-smith/files/primary/html/...
(alt-f3 on the server etc.)
