Hi all,

(Firstly, sorry this isn't a reply to the original message - I'm not in
front of my normal email client and hence having silly webmail issues.)

However, I just thought I'd send a quick mail to say 'hello' as I'd most
likley be mentoring for the Freemail web interface project. I did most
of Freemail in GSoC 2006 and it was a great experience, although now I'm
in full time work and so don't have much time code on it. Having a web
interface for Freemail would make it much more accessible and easy to
use for a huge number of people, so it would be great to get someone
working on that project.

The current web interface for the Freemail plugin, as you probably know,
is very basic, so it would be great to get a webmail interface to it in
there, which apart from meaning that people wouldn't necessarily have to
set up a mail client, would also allow people to check the status of the
messages that they've sent and give much better proection against mail
clients sending anonymity-compromising headers.

That would be the basic idea of the project; if you have any further
questions the fell free to post them to the list or Freemail's own list
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). I'm off on holiday for a few days in
about 2 minutes, but I'll catch up on email & suchlike when I'm back.
