Okay, since it seems that there might be a use for it,
this weekend I will experiment with the possible ways
to make the dialog fit on a 640x480 screen. I'll
upload the program somewhere when I'm done before I
commit it to CVS so people can comment first. I still
don't think it is very neccesary

Hi.
What I suggested, moving the window with right mouse button (not only on
the titlebar but on the whole window surface) will solve the problem and
should be easy to implement. Do not think only about 640x480 resolution
but also about people which had to use bigger fonts on the screen, becou

Er, what, did I miss something? As far as I can tell, the right mouse
button does *nothing* in the IE settings dialogs. You can't

Hi.
One simple solution to problem of a too big window is to allow moving
the window with right mouse button. It will allow easy acces to al buttons
in all resolutions, even if someone has much bigger fonts.

The windows config program dialogue box is slightly too large on my
machine. Even with the windows task bar docked at the side of the screen, I
can't see the OK and CANCEL buttons. I'm running at 640x480.

Well, it's moderated now and I've flushed all the pending posts.

Yep, I planned to (but wanted to test it a bit more thoroughly myself
before announcing).
Thanks for the $VERSION heads up, I'll fix it.

Just downloaded it and it works well, but on the
installer page where you select the components to
install, the following is displayed at the top of the
screen: "This will install Freenet ${VERSION} on your
system."
Looks like the ${VERSION} wasn't converted to the
actual version correctly. Othe

It used to be moderated and there were no messages for years there. It
must have gotten unmoderated status when Ian moved to the new mailman
version. Weird.

First of all, I was just wondering whether anyone had
checked out the latest version of the node config
program from CVS yet. It should work now, no matter
what version of the platform SDK that you have.
Also, I was surprised to find my inbox flooded this
