Freenet unstable testing prerelease build 1474-pre1 is now available. This unplanned prerelease contains hotfixes that address two bugs. 1. When a bandwidth less than the minimum bandwidth is configured, the node no longer fails to start, but uses the minimum bandwidth instead. This fixes a regression introduced in build 1473. 2. A metadata validation bug that has plagued Frost users for the past two days is fixed, which caused most of the affected node's requests to stall after a malicious splitfile is fetched.
Another included non-hotfix change improves the phrasing of a security-related message. As usual, updating to this prerelease can be done through "./update.sh testing" on Linux or "update.cmd testing" on Windows. Thanks to Florent for doing this prerelease, given the current absence of Steve.
