Okay, this is now fixed.
It was introduced by someone when the code to redirect '?key=' to '/key' went
in. The url must be re-encoded.

Netscape, linux, and many URLs with spaces in them that trip the filter. For
example, MSK at SSK@u1AntQcZ81Y4c

it translates URIs with spaces escaped as + signs back into spaces when making
the force URL, which of course prevents the page linked to from loading.
