I had thought of this but then there came the challenge: these variables
can be changed anytime from financial to calendar year from monthly to
quarterly and that's why I though I may need a more dynamic way of fetching
the descriptive period.

I have a program which has been working fine until today when i noticed
that whenever i add an entity to the program,the "SAVE AND ADD NEW' is not
clearing the form to allow for another entry.
Is this a bug?
Am using DHIS2 2.25 latest version

Hello Stanley,
I don't think it is a bug,we are currently running that same version. which
browser are you using? I experienced the same when I was using Mozilla, use
google chrome and clear your browsing data.

How can one disable certain sites from enrolling entities into a program
BUT those entities maybe able to get services on the stages created for the
program.
So what saying is enrollment into a program is restricted to certain
entities but access to services which are in the stages of the program

You could create a user role that does not allow to add new TEIs and assign it
to users allocated to that site. this way they will provide services for only
the registered persons.
