Good idea Jason!
I had a long time ago this issue. Number of cumulative ARV patiens or
Number of cumulative patients on TB something. I wrote a R script which got
data from the datavalue table rearanged it and produced a new table with
the cumulatives. A table for each type of period. Then the rep

This is nice to have.
But please should be a way to prevent exposure to everything.

Hello Dear!
First it is advisable to use 64 bits. But anyway we can use 32bit.
Second do not mess up java in ubuntu using those enviroment settings; Use
update-alternatives command. Check the doccumentation for that.
In my experience the Linux kernel settings by default are fine. And the it

The connection pool software is saying that the connection is expiring.
I have DHIS running with OpenJDK under 64bit. Can you try OpenJDK instead
of the Oracle one?

Thank you for this mail both of you. I have the same issue.
I have made a pgdum of the data from a cloud server using 2.10. I want to
test 2.12. So I place that data on my laptop. I upgraded first to 2.11 and
I saw this on the logs when trying to retrieve my old plots:
Jun 5, 2013 5:26:13 AM org.
Astonishing!
Well done

One thing:
Couldn't negative numbers trouble datamart?
I do not know how people here count negatively!

Some organisationunities does not have data on reportting. I am using DHIS
2.10 under CentOS 6.3 64bit.
The last log has this:
* INFO 2013-05-14 07:54:38,130 Created indicator index: 0:23:21.391

* INFO 2013-05-14 07:54:38,223 Aggregated data export done: 0:23:21.48
I understood your point and yes it is good to share what you have done.
What worries me is you say "DHIS2 datamart ran faster on PostgreSQL 9.2".
Your conditions are not the same for everyone. You did on Windows and most
of DHIS are setup on Linux which is a quite different situation.

I do not have a huge database as yours. And yes I have migrated from MySQL

enough MySQL. Anyway getting back to your journey I must ask what means

It is true that hardware prices have decreased a lot.
But for me it seems too excessive these recommendations. So I am wondering
how we arrived to these recommendations. Would be nice if we share that.

Great!!!
Needless to say on a 64bit machine. And are you usinge an enterprise kernel
(from Red Hat Enterprise or CentOS one)?
Thank you

That is tomcat screaming: I can not access TEMP folder.
Are you using windows or linux. If linux check the permissions for the
folder temp under tomcat folder, typically /opt/tomcat/:
ls -l /opt/tomcat.

Indeed is ngix is better for reverse proxy and a lot of more people start to
use it. But I think there is not native ngix for windows so apache would fit
for this.
And I think is not good to edit files (on debian way)
/etc/apache/mods-enabled. So on Docs we must change those reverse proxy
settings
And another recommendation is protect tomcat with Apache (configure it to
work like reverse proxy). Somewhere on the tomcat docs they do recommend
that too.

Have set the environment as system variable and as the user administrator?
After the reboot check if it is being defined by opening de command prompt

So set DHIS2_HOME as a system variable. You must be logged as the

You might try to place the on begging of startup.sh (on $CATALINA_HOME/bin)

I do not understand, do you have data in a DB (not in DHIS2 format) and you
want to move that data to a DHIS2 format?
And DHIS does not use ODBC. You must set the connection on:

On your instructions file step 2 has the file hibernate.pro
