problem is that Launchpad is sending out commit mails on the default
team list. Of course we can make another list but it is also not ideal
to have too many of these things. If you are using an email client
which supports filters you can easily:

The developer mailing list is meant for requests and discussion around
new features - but I certainly see how many people on the use
