I have noticed that when I transmit in MMTY with my FT1000MP with the EDSP off, I get more output than when EDSP is on. I like to use EDSP on receive. Is there a way to have it on and get more output. Increasing the RF Pwr on the MP doesn't increase the power out. Tom W8JWN Need a Digital

My portable station consists of an Elecraft K-2 and its antenna tuner and a laptop PC. The K-2 and its tuner fit into a padded six-pack cooler bag. Another such bag holds the power supply, PC to soundcard interface box, key, microphone, and headphones. So that's 3 packages for the whole thing.

Maybe it is obvious to most , but I was watching the tuning indicator in PC ALE and also looking at the waterfall in Multipsk and began to wonder about what a digital software application "has to see" before it starts printing out text ? Is it just the correct width of a signal , a mark/space
