I have a missing link in my understanding of how to set up a digital
radio station. I have:
1. a FT-897 connected to an G5RV NVIS antenna on my roof. Works fine
for USB.
2. a Windows XP laptop with MixW and MultiPSK installed, since they
are recommended in digimodes.html in the Files

You can use a Rigblaster of Microkey and they will work very well.
Others build there own interfaces that include isolation
transformers for less than $10.00.
I'll send you some step by step instructions later today, if I can
find them.
