Hello all,
For those of you that have not been informed as of yet, the 20m
(14.236 USB) Weekend Digital Voice Net will be starting up again this
November 4th (with the help of Mel K0PFX). It will be held on both
Saturdays & Sundays, the AOR DV group will have the first hour from
19:00
Thanks Joe.
I did not think it had ARQ and that's the meat of Pactor
and Amtor.

Some computers have a speaker output. You could add a small
transformer to the +V of the RF amplifier to transmit AM at low power.
AM may be used to transmit PSK31 or other digi modes. It will produce
a carrier + DSB signals.

The problem with NVIS is that there are a lot of
paths over which the transmitted signal can reach the
receiver. When DRM was tested, they measured a 7 ms delay spread in an
equatorial region and I've seen reports published on the Internet showing up to
13 ms. In near-polar regions, there
Everything I have ever read leads me to believe than any baud rate below 40-50
baud is Ok for NVIS operation on HF. The lower the baud rate the better to a
point. The more/better (more robust) FEC you have the better change for error
free (near error free) copy. There is also a consideration
I will be mobile at about 17:15Z on digital voice on 14,236

Have you tried CCW(FSK) which is part of Multipsk program?

Hi gang.
I am thinking of learning my SW+40 to talk digitally. I know of only
two digital modes that may be exercised on this TRX without any
hardware modification: morse and feld hell. The third possibility
would be RTTY, but it would need to modify the TRX slightly. Although
it may be done on SW
