All: Lot's of stations calling on JT65 without setting their PC clocks. Not having your time set accurately makes it difficult for others to decode your signals. Set your clock with WWV before getting on the air or... Download this free utility at:

[digitalradio] BOZO Question -- using JT65A w/ Tigertronics SignalLinkUSB interface:

2007-04-17 Thread Patricia Gibbons
I'm using the Tigertronics SignaLinkUSB interface, so what settings do I need to change in the WSJT6 software so that it talks to my USB Audio CODEC soundcard which is in the Tigertronics interface ??? I've looked over the WSJT.ini file, and nothing seems obvious ... Elaine / WA6UBE

Surely ! I have used NIST's nistime32 with good results. With no Internet access at home, I am using Clock 1.6, the companion of Multipsk with CHU. Using CHU, it works extremely well and failsafe, you won't get garbage with it. It either decodes well or nothing happens. 73, Jose, CO2JA PS:

[digitalradio] JT65A and future of slow MFSK

2007-04-17 Thread expeditionradio
It is interesting to see so many operators on JT65A on 14076 USB. JT65A has caught on fast! Perhaps that is the only fast thing about JT65A :) It certainly shows good potential for very slow MFSK systems to operate in weak signal conditions. Perhaps a fixed frequency MFSK system could be

In the options area you need to specify the device, I think an internal soundcard is usually zero and the Tigettronics may be 1. Ill check more when I get home, Should be a fairly easy thing. On 4/17/07, Patricia Gibbons [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I'm using the Tigertronics SignaLinkUSB

I guess one second is OK. I have been as much as three seconds away without consequences. The timing is to get transmissions organized and allow the stations to operate in a known time frame. I would say that, watching the way the program works, more than five seconds is unnaceptable. I think
