You are probably right, however, I am firewalled - using a PIX 501 - and
have a number of ACLs set to really limit any access from the outside
world.

Depending on the version of antivirus software you are using, you need
to go out to the antivirus software website at least once a week for
updates for the signature file. In fact, several weeks ago Symantec put
out four updates in one week. Running a scan of your pc should also be
done daily
