I had an MD5 sum of
868e9d99890915718e29f30026068822
from two different sites I downloaded the imgae from.
This does NOT match the MD5SUM as shown on the web site. I haven't tried
burning and running it yet, but I'm sure it will work.

I've used the single chip Winbond WTS701 solution, but they have
discontinued this series of parts. The Winbond does sound good though.
