Hello to all,

I have read this very important threat, and yes everyone can use the
power what he think that he needed, and this in accordance with his
licence.
I have a ON3 call sign what's mean that I can send on the HF bands
(without the 10 meter band) and this with a maximum of 10 Watt, yes,
only 10 Watt and in a few weeks we become the permission to use to
the 10 meter band.

As I have my licence I was thinking of what can I do with my only 10
Watt on the HF bands, then the most HAMs talk from a minimum of 100
Watt to ..,.. Kw.
So my first impression was no DX for me, and with a little bit of
help maybe EU-DXing hi…
Also I buy the ICOM IC-703 and the MixWRigexpert and as antenna I
had from my SWL time the GPA-30, my Coax cable is 30 meters long
and "RG58" and the antenna is about 6 metres above the ground and my
QTH is still in a forest with many trees higher than my antenna. My
location about 35 metres above the sea level.

Also al connected and now try to make my first steps on the HF bands
in DIGI-mode on 15 Sep 2005, in BPSK31 and my first contact ever was
with Europ. Russia and later there are following more and more DXCC
countries and at the moment I have made 2101 QSO's in several DIGI
modes and others and at the moment I have worked 115 DXCC's and 6
(six) continents.
And this isn't all:

I have also to won the UBA CW Contest and was the first EU station
in the PSKfest contest, and again yes only with low power.
And a I don't know more wish contest its was, I heard in a Pile-up a
station from Tuvalu and again with my 10 Watt but now in phone (SSB)
I called that station and after three times that station gives me a
report of 58. I think that this was a UFB DX or?

What I will say with my, I hope little story, is that you don't need
more power between the 10 to 50 watt to make DX'ing.

I will buy me a new and better coaxial cable in the future and build
me a HF Dipole antenna going from 160 metres till the 10 Metres, and
maybe I become more DXCC's hi..

Hope to work you all some days on the HF bands and in DIGI modes
with a minimum of power .

Best 73 and a lot of DIGI DXing.
De Pat
ON3AD

PS: sorry for my bad English, I never learn it into the school, I
have learned with help of lexicons and online translaters.
